Let Spirit Lead The Way

I came into last Saturday morning's meditation with a big question in my mind:

How do I begin becoming a professional Tarot reader?

Yes, I have been thinking of becoming a professional Tarot reader and seriously earning money from it. I want to do it for a living.

This stems from swirling in years of uncertainty regarding my career. I went from being a young entrepreneur to an arts manager, then stepped out of the corporate world into the self-fulfilling comfort zone of a freelancer. I had been a Grab driver, freelance translator, and like many others, Covid-19 drove me (no pun intended) into the realm of food and parcel delivery.

But really, what do I want to do with my life?

Those roller-coaster years had inadvertently forced me to come face to face with my spirituality. In the long periods of darkness where nothing seemed to be the way, I had no choice but to open my door to Spirit, to my Soul and to the Sacred. I learned to heal, and I learned that I could heal others too.

Without going further into the details of those turbulent times, so I finally came to seriously consider taking the spiritual path in my career.

It feels right, it feels comfortable, it feels exciting.

But how? Days before the meditation session, I considered emailing Roger to ask if we could discuss this and get some of the peeps from the group to talk about how they started on their spiritual careers. However, it slipped my mind.

No worries though.

Spirit always has a way of finding its way to you.

During the session, a new member started asking about ways to further her spirituality and spiritual knowledge. Turns out I myself started giving her the answer I was looking for. I told her:

"The beautiful thing about Spirit is that it is here to make things easy for us. Put your intention out to the universe. Then, just like a book falling off the shelf when you walk into a bookstore, the answer will find its way to you. Go with the flow and let Spirit lead the way."

After the session I gave a thought of gratitude to Spirit. "Thank you. You always do your job and answer my prayers." Little did I know that was just the tip of the iceberg.

Later in the afternoon, I finally decided to tune in to Roni's podcast, Home of the Awakening Soul. I scrolled through the playlist and started listening.

Oh, guess what?

Roni's podcast was a whole series of interviews with professional healers and spiritual practitioners - including members of the meditation group, such as Roger, Sherry and so on.

In the interviews, they talked about their spiritual journey, and how they started on their spiritual careers.

Is that an answer from Spirit or what? You bet.

It was yet another moment of awe and wonder at the miraculous workings of Spirit. Ask, and you shall receive. Jesus bluffs you not.

That was what led me to starting this blog. It was Spirit giving me an affirmation, the green light, that sharing my spirituality and helping others heal is the way to go.

Spirit, you rock.
